Marisa began her pastry career at The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. After graduation, she moved to New York City honing her skills working in the kitchens of Ron Ben-Israel Cakes, Gramercy Tavern, Per Se, and most recently Obsessive Chocolate Disorder by Sebastian Brecht. In her confections, she uses her experience and training focusing on using local ingredients with a keen attention to detail. She is an avid coffee drinker, dog lover, and handbag/shoe aficionado.
